Alongside their aviation license, students can obtain an undergraduate degree in one of two fields. The first in a Bachelor of Science degree in the science of aviation. With a perfect combination of hands-on flight training paired with intensely in-depth classroom study, students can receive a well rounded educational experience in the science of aviation. Students study aviation-related sciences such as computer science, physics, geography, and mathematics.

Alternatively, students can also pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree in business studies to go along with their training in aviation. Their aviation background combined with business expertise will help graduates broaden their horizons and increase their management qualifications. Students receive a quality education in business fields such as management, finances, accounting, and marketing.

Students will spend their first year in preliminary classes, taking courses pertaining to either their Business or Science degree pursuits. Hands-on aviation training begins during the students’ second year of the program. In the duration of the program, students receive over 200 hours on flight training. And this is combined with ground training over the course of hundreds of hours. All students with aviation training receive lessons on meteorology and weather patterns, aeroplane instruments and equipment, navigation, and aviation regulations.

After completing the program, students graduate with an undergraduate degree paired with a Commercial Pilot Licence. They will also have a Group 1 instrument rating and a multi-engine class rating. By the end of the course, they may also qualify for the Airline Transport Pilot Licence exam.
