Candidates can apply to the new stream only if they have a valid job offer from an employer in Alberta. New rules on the age of immigrants for applications to Canada have come into force as of October 24^th, 2017. IRCC has said that, ‘applying the change to in-process applications would require a pause in finalizing many permanent residence applications and would impact processing times in many programs.’
