Manitoba permanent residence invitations over 3000

Manitoba’s latest Expression of Interest draw, which took place on March 28th, saw nearly 600 immigration candidates receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

In total, 595 candidates received the invitation, making the total number of applicants who have been invited to permanent residency in Manitoba over 3100 for the year of 2019 thus far.

The candidates were invited through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Skilled Workers Overseas, International Education, and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams. Each candidate had a registered Expression of Interest profile, which is required in order to be considered for nomination.

Each profile receives a score based on factors such as language proficiency, education, work-related skills, age, and, for PNP programs like the one in Manitoba, connections to the province or territory.

The lowest score of a candidate to receive an invitation to apply in this draw was 433, which is a record minimum.
